my ford esort 1989 has no spark and no petrol pump?

i bought an escort and it stalled on my way home, the petrol pump is working when you put a live to it but not on the car electrics, the fuel pump is situated in the petrol tank, i also dont have a spark, ive changed the coil pack and the ecu box under the dash, its a cvh engine with the efi injection system, and im now totally lost, there was an alarm on the car but i got this removed so i new it wasnt making the problem worse.
