Mend ProLine TVC140 Television Video Problem

Proline TVC140-screen keeps saying 'Heat Run' and is really bright?

Hello, i am the owner of a ProLine TVC140. It has served me very well since i have purchased it however yesterday on switching it on and inserting a video the screen appeared all light,parched, and the words 'Heat Run' appeared at the top of the screen and would not go away. I am wondering if you have any clue as to what the problem or possible soloutions could be. Many Thanks

My tv did EXACTLY the same thing and i simply can not make it go away. The words heat run have been burnt into my retina for the last five years and I just dont notice anymore.

i am having da same issue, it will not access the menu, so i am unable to change settings, the scart input is REALLY bright and my pc doesnt recognise it as i use it as a second display monitor. this is a pain in the backside s.redmond@hotmail.co.uk
