Mend Saunier Duval SD40 Water Light

my saunier duval sd40 water heater for my caravan the pilot light is n?

the pilot light will not stay on when i take my finger of the button replaced the main water tank last year tried replaceing the heat exchanger fiund their was a build up of sut round the main water tank any help would be gratfull
