Mend Saunier Duval F24E Boiler Months Pressure

Saunier Duval F24E Boiler?

Have a Saunier Duval F24E condenser boiler about 12 months old, pressure drops 2 or 3 a times a day after hot water/heating has been used for a while. When I return presure back up to 1.5-2.0 it works fine for a while and then drops again making red light come on
and stops the function.
Anyone got any ideas what needs doing please?

there seems to a leak from the three way valve on my boiler. is there a common leak from anywhere round this area of the boiler

The Plumber was correct as the expansion vessel being faulty would cause the pressure to increase above 3 bar whilst the heating is on which means that the PRV will open and release water from the system.

Recommend getting a gas engineer to check the expansion vessel which will most likely need replacing.

looks like you have same problem as me ive changed the prv but still have some problem i have spoken to a plumber he reckons it is the expansion vessel it could need repressurising or changing some people think these boilers are hard to work on so far it does not seem that bad try the above a prv is £10.50 +vat -delivery
