Mend Dyson DC07 Belt Drive Hoover

Getting to the belt drive of DC07?

The hoover makes a very loud grinding type noise when the brushes are turning at the base of the hoover. I have stripped down as far as I can but can't get to the other end of the drive belt of the hoover. I have a feeling something has just got jammed up in there.
