heater matrix ford mondeo?

car heater does not work, blows cold air only,any suggestions be helpfull.

CHECK THE DRAINS IN YOUR SCUTTLE,AS THEY MAY BE BLOCKED,AND WATER TRAPPED IN SCUTTLE IS INGRESSING INTO PASSENGER FOOTWELL THROUGH BACK OF POLLEN FILTER.

The heater matrix is located inside the main heater box inside the vehicle behind the dash,The leak could be from the heater or could be coming from a loose grommet at the bulkhead, particularly if additional wiring has been routed through existing seling grommets.If the heater matrix was leaking this would probably introduce some misting of the screen(depending on the amount) and also may contribute to some engine overheating due to loss of system pressure,I have just had a matrix blow on me (the wifes car) which filled the inside of the vehicle completely with steam,You may see some signs of water where the vent blows out into the footwelll areas.
