Mend Renault Ignition Car

how do i remove an ignition barrel from a renault scenic?

tried to start the car key would not turn at all. tried to remove the ignition barrel, can't shift it. can anybody help. it's a renault scenic

I've a 97 Scenic and same problem. The barrel is designed to be removed after you turn the key to the mark between 2/3 on the switch. Then you can press in the lugs holding in the barrel and it slides out. Had to drill out my lugs carefully before fitting a replacement
