Mend Ford Fiesta 1999 Cold Hot

Ford Fiesta (1999) Heater operates when switched to cold?

The heater on my 1999 Ford Fiesta sometimes operates when switched to cold. This only happens on hot days when the engine is very warm. Switching the heater to hot results in heating working while engine is far less warm.

Ford Ford Fiesta Vehicles, Cars 1999 Cold Hot

Heater valve needs replacing. Easy to fix. £10 from a breakers. It is in the baulkhead connected by 4 hose clips and should only take 5 mins to replace.
