how to fit a new drum belt to Bendix 1012 washer dryer?

Bendix washer/dryer BDW 1012 I cannot see how you can fit a new belt as there is no panel at the back of the machine and I am not sure how to get at it

You need to take the top off in order to get to the screws that hold the front on. You need to just slip the belt over the drum, which is why you take off the front, then run it through the tensioner and around the motor. A new belt should run you around $25.
