Mend Newlec Flashing Main Battery

Alarm Sounder Stobe keep flashing?

How do you or why does my Alarm Sounder Stobe keep flashing, I recently had to replace the main battery in the Alarm unit. this is a 12v NI-Cad. The system, also has a mains supply. The bellbox is a Newlec.
On replacing the main battery we found that the outside Alarm sounder (bellbox) Stobe keepsflashing, I have since replaced the internal battery of the sounder(7.2v NI-Cad), gone through all the program tests and still the stobe keeps flashing.

Can you help, how do we stop the strobe from flashing in normal operation.

does your panel show any faults, if not then the output for the strobe has a fault, quick remedy is to put strobe wire in panel in bell terminal ( if bell starts to sound then the bell itself is the problem or bell cable run) Good luck
