Mend Kenmore 44722 Washing Machine Water Level Repair

Kenmore washing machine # 44722 won't stop filling?

My Kenmore washing machine #44722 won't stop filling when the water level is selected as high. Other than that, it works very well. Can anybody tell me how to fix the problem?

You may need a new inlet valve, not too expensive and you can fit it yourself.
