Mend Yamaha SR250 Bike Start Fire

how can I fix my yamaha?

I have a yamaha sr 250 the bike will not start but if I get a jump start from the car the bike will fire up but as soon as I take the leads of the bike stops

Try charging up the old battery with a slow changer. I had the same problem once.

agree with bulldog , but i try a new battery first , incase yours is shot

you need a new generator fitted as soon as you fit it it will work sweet as a nut
