mondeo speedo just stop working ???????

It could be the inner cable for the speedo. You need to remove the instrument cluster, undo the speedo cable from behind the speedo, pull out the inner cable, it should have a square end at the bottom. If it has not it has broken and you will need to undo the other end from the gearbox, remove the rest of the cable and replace the gearbox end of the cable sheath. Then replace the "NEW" inner and hopefully it is fixed.
