water problems?

the hot water keeps going off when running water either for a shower or just washing the dishes it comes through cold and then suddenly turns back to hot as you can imagine its a nuisance if not dangerous when the kids are showering , have had the boiler 2 years all new piping system at the same time , this has been happening for about six weeks pressure is fine any ideas i would be grateful
