How do I fix my White knight Tumble dryer model CL447WV. It is spinning but not heating up?

After reading this page, I just fixed my White Knight dryer by pressing the reset button on the back of it.

I feel so stupid, I paid a guy to come and repair it only a few weeks ago, he told me it was a loose connection.

I am so pleased I decided to google for a solution before I got the yellow pages out again.

hi my white night has packed up (not heating ) tried the reset but no good. looking at this furum i think i will go for the £25 option. but i could do with a copy of the wiring manual ( thinking of bypassing just to check and not as a permanent fix

Its just that mine has decided to stop getting hot !! its still spinning but cold.

I bypassed the red switch and its getting hot perfect now.

But wondered how safe it was without the red trip switch ???

Any help you can give me is appreciated.

"have you tried pushing the red button on the back" I would never have thought of that! I had the same problem... it's now fixed.

have you tried pushing the red button on the back of the machine to reset it.if you need to get spares phone crosslee/white knight they sell a complete pack for £25 which gives u thermastat/heating element/and reset button all in one i also have the wiring diagram if you need it put your e-mail on i will send it over
