now just need to fix the over reving when idling

Easy problem to fix. Carefully prise out the clock with a screw driver and piece of cloth. Remove wiring harness. Un clip clear front piece from grey/white back piece. Remove internal clock workings. Remove blub by twisting anti-clockwise. Replace with new bulb. Fitting is opposite to removal.
