I go into system and hardware and click on the device and it comes up with the message: "windows cannot load the device the driver may be corrupted code 39". The DVD drive has previously been working fine and hasn't really had much use. This is the 2nd time this has happened to a laptop of mine (the other being a Packard Bell ). Any advice would be much appreciated!!!
It start by trying to to reinstall the device driver. There is an update function that should do this in the Windows hardware manger. Drivers from DSG as advent is their own brand. (As effectively is Packard-Bell as they have exclusive rights to them in the UK.)
