remove unwanted music files?

i recently downloaded 2 tracks of music off limewire (im using xp os by the way) and i cannot delete them when i right click i dnt get the usual delete , rename messages etc all it says is send 2 etc is there neway 2 go into the reg to delete manually? any help appreciated cheers!

when you get the menu from F8 Select 'Safe Mode'. allow windows to boot. Find the folder where your music is and delete them. If it wont allow you to delete them still then check out the link I'm putting below. Also, as the last person said, uninstall Limewire. It's a gateway lots lots of bad stuff. 90% of what you can download from Limewire is infected. Even if you pay for it. Get the program Azureus and do some reading about Bittorrent. you can download anything with that and its fast and free. Hope this all helps!

hi in response to the anon' you wasnt clear on what i have to do after pressing f8? eg what catagory do i select and how then do i delete please could u elaborate im a bit newbie to this kind of thing! :) much appreciated cheers

hold down the F8 key as your computer boots up.
delete the files.
reboot
remove limewire coz its cr*p ;)
