I ran a plastic bag through my NoviTech (Model PS - 42061) paper shredder and it stuck. Now the roller is clogged with plastic. I cut most of it away, what next?

basically you don't - once you get plastic or polythene into a shredder it is best to replace it, you'll never remove all of the plastic. As the cutting head gets hotter the plastic will melt & solidify, this will eventually take out the main motor or pcb.

this is why they are called PAPER shredders

Hi,

Yea, I ran a laminated sheet through my shredder once and it didn't like it! I had to dismantle the shredding unit and painstakingly pick out every little bit of plastic. It still doesnt work as it used to but try it anyways, it might help
