Unplug machine, pull out to access drain tube (flexible grey plastic) and lower this down to the floor over a tub or deep tray to collect the water. If theres a lot you will have to raise the pipe up to stop the flow before emptying the container. If only a little water comes out then the machine programme may be locked. Undo the white plastic panel at the rear of the machine (2 screws) and you will see a black rubber tube and pipe with attachment. This tube is the filter and it leads down to the pump which is between the drain pipe and the filter. Unscrew the two jubilee clips and unspring the plastic collar at the pump end and remove the filter. If you first turn the machine around and tip it forward to lean against a wall then you can get a plastic sink tub or tray under the machine to catch any water and gunge (there will be a lot) when removing the filter. Clean the filter and tube remembering to keep the plastic float (ball). Then remove the pump by sliding it to the left and lifting it out so you can unplug the wires (white connector). Then take off the drain pipe by unspringing the plastic clip. Clean the pump inlet and flush it through with clean water. Turn the impeller by poking a screwdriver down the inlet. Make sure it turns freely and is not jammed by a hairgrip, broken bra wire or similar such as a zip tag. Then reassemble in reverse order making sure that the spring clips on the pipes are tight. Refit the drain pipe in the outlet and test by running a rinse cycle before putting the machine back.
