hotpoint washing machine?

hotpoint washing machine wf541g 1400rpm,keeps stopping and flashing on/off rinse hold and mini load,I have tried all that says in manual re-troubleshooting and still happening.Only continues to work if i switch off at socket and leave for at least half hour before trying another cycle or spin.

I have a hotpoint aquarius extra wm34, 6 1/2 years old, the washing starts then after a little while lcd flashes on prewash, or all the lights come on, then you can't select either a wash or rinse. Do you think i should get it fixed, it has been fixed a few months earlier for something else!
