Ford Festiva Trio 1997 WB 1.5 motor manual hatch?

After changing battery entered wrong security code for radio.
now displaying error.
how can I re-enter ccorrect code and get radio working again.
does it have to be left on with ignition to clear the 30min reset delay.
help please!

Yes,you're right,just turn on radio and wait.it could take few hours.
