Everytime i try to send my web cam to other people on my friend list, all they see is a blank grey/black screen. No image can be seen but i can see them clearly. My son & I have tried everything to fix this problem. I am on Windows Vista & the Webcam is supposed to be caompatible. Please Helpme to solve this problem

had same prob i did a system restor and reinstalled still didnt work but then i started a video call isnted of veiw webcam and seems to work hope this helps

i have msn problems with the cam too.
im using version 2008 8.5.1302.1018
and when i try to use the cam - its just trying to connect and after a while it stops and says that i've canceled the invitation.
im using internet via proxy.
before that i was using normal internet and it was working fine, but now not.

Im having a nightmare with my PCL300K webcam - doesnt work at all now keeps crashing my pc - I think the answer to your problem is that it wont be compatible with Vista - ive heard a lot about vista and there are a lot of things that wont run with it
