I was doing that and it didnt work . Ford wanted £190 to fit a new 'revised' seat belt. However the man at the garage doing the other work for me removed the seat and did something (he said 'jiggled' ) and its now free! It didn't cost me anything either ! Now I have the Belt clipped into place so that it can't jam in the rest position again !
Whew !
Now all I need to do is to remove the spanner symbol as its been serviced too !
