Mend Rover 214si Mot Car Reg

MOT Failure?

Silly question, but as I've never MOTed a car before. My Rover 214si P Reg (new shape) is due next week (start of march), can I fail my MOT if my back additional brake light (above the boot) and my back window washer spray isn't working?

I've been told it is a failure and it's not, so any ideas?

No they don't additional lights and rear wipers are not an mot failure,just go and ask your local teasting station they will put you right...
