How can I fix my stagnant water smell coming from my HOTPOINT WMA46?

How can I fix my stagnant water smell coming from my HOTPOINT WMA46. Once a wash is complete all of the clothes smell of dank, stagnant water. Even the drum and the soap door smells ths same. Can someone help me PLEASE.

Hi if you check the washing machine outlet to see if theres a water trap if not the smell could be coming from the drain outside or if its plumbed to the sink the dirty sink water may be getting into your machine
