the door light remains on my hotpoint Aquarius washing machine?

If you took off the door lock(interlock)normaly brownish pink in colour you may have put the wires on wrong .The interlock has letters printed on it like this C N L The wires normaly go like this C =RED N =BLUE or BLACK L =BROWN if they are on correctley check out the wiring loom plug wich comes from the interlock and goes to the timer board normaly a black plug wich appears to have all black wires if this does not work
