How can I mend air control switch Ford Mondeo 1800 diesel?

The switch that controls the air flow only works on position 1(Very Weakly) and 4 . This is on both exteria and recycled air flow modes. It also work on 4 with the Air Con. It is a 98 Model.

you req a new heater resistor and pos multiplug.have a look its on heater box behind glovebox to see if multiplug is burnt
