how can i fix my hotpoint wma62 washing machine?

my hotpoint wma62 washing machine is filling up with water when turned off and not in use can you tell me how to fix this and what parts need replacing please

Hello Steven,
Sounds like the inlet valve has gone faulty, quite common, by a new one and fit, very easy, take the plug out when you work on the machine.
