Mend Venturer PVS1262 Dvd Only Months

My portable DVD player only lasted 7 months?

MY DVD PLAYER DOES NOT RECOGNIZE ANY DVD/CD THAT I PUT IN IT. THE PLAYER LOOKS GOOD AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION, BUT THE MESSAGE THAT KEEPS FLASHING ACROSS THE SCREEN SAYS "INVALID DISC"?
