No recoil on ryobi SS30?

The pull cord on my ryobi SS30 will not recoil. How do I fix this?

I have the same problem with the SS30, and have taken it completely apart, rewound the pull start coil, but it only went back to the way it was. I am stumped. Not too easy to get back together either after disassembling. I will never buy another Ryobi. Sorry i didnt have the answer.
