What makes a vacuum cleaner suddenly become twice as loud as before?
My Dirt Devil vacuum has always been on the loud side, but just recently while vacuuming it became twice as loud. It still has good suction but it is terribly loud, what could have caused this?
May be a broken fan. If it's not fixed soon, it could cause your motor to fail which would be an expensive repair. I just read this and am having the same problem with my Bissell.
