Mend Maytag PYE2200 Dryer Motor

Maytag Performa (PYE 2200) dryer?

won't run. Small box next to the motor, which I assume is thermal protection switch shows 0.0 resistance. I expect this is the problem. What do you think. What should resistance value be?
