heated rear screen?

You say that there is next to no voltage at the rear screen connecter, what is the voltage coming in and out of out the relay and switch? I suspect the system is in this order
switch>>relay>>screen
check the voltage to the relay if ok(12volts) check the relay output,
If the voltage out the relay is ok, check the resistance of the wire between the relay and screen you should have around 0.03ohms if not you have a break in the wire between the relay and screen.
