Fault codes hotpoint dc27?

I tried putting in more salt an hey presto! mine sprang back to life. Hope this helps.

Hi,
If it is the dc27 slimline model and the leaft hand light (salt) is flashing, you have to open the door, remove the salt filler cap that is on the inner floor and fill with ordinary table salt. It will take approx 2 standard packs. This should cure the problem. Good Luck
