Mend Glow-worm Hotwater Express Hot Water Central Heating Flow Switch

glow worm hotwater express?

hi i get no hot water but CH works fine when i hit the flow switch the flame kicks in and i get hot water but then it will stop if i hit it again it starts to heat up again does this sound like deffinatly the flow switch

sounds like it is the flow switch but you may need new sensors too, if you can still get them, if im correct they are old boilers and parts are becoming hard to find, good luck.

this is a common problem with the swiftflow flow switch, they scale up which causes them to either stick on or not operate due to reduced flow, you could try checking the balafix valve on the hot water outlet pipe first because these are very prone to blocking.
