Mend Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 DTI Engine Speed

engine electronic light comes on?

when i,m driving my vauxhall zafira 2.0 dti 2004 model the light comes on but it doesn,t come on till i,m driving at around 70 -80 mph the rest of the time its ok it comes on and goes off and so on any idea what it could be?

I recently had this problem but was associated with the turbo cutting out (does this happen to you?). Turned out to be the turbo manifold hose being split causing the turbo to overheat so the computer would cut it out until it cooled. A replacement cost £100 incl parts+labour+warranty.
