Mend Extractor Light Switch

how do i wire an extractor fan and light to one switch box?

D.I.Y, Lighting Extractor Light Switch

Its simple. Connect the swicth wire for light and fan together at switch. That goes into L1 and Ur feed goes into common. If a timer model bring a live cable from the common so that there is a constant feed at it. Must have a neutral at light and fan also.

It has been my experience that extractor fans come with instructions on how they should be wired. It is important, for safety reasons, that they are followed exactly. If you do not understand the instructions then I suggest that you call a qualified electrician.
