how do i stop a bulldog alarm external bell box beeping?

We have a bulldog alarm, approx 6 years old, and the external bell box keeps beeping at all times, whether set or not. We do not have a reference guide, and therefore no model number - fitted on a new barratts house. Can anyone help with a diagnosis please. Thanks
