How do you replace line in a Weedeater Model RT112?

I need to know how to remove the cylinder or container which holds the line on the spool.

which way do u put the line in clock wise or counter clock wise??

Thanks Marie. I followed your advice and f-i-n-a-l-l-y got the reel off. Turned out that there was still lots of line left, so just had to wind it up, put it through the hole, and replace the top. Saved me a trip to the hardware store. Jan, Okotoks, Alberta

the manual does not show you who to replace the line (cartridge). by trial and error, i evidently popped the cartridge off. first line up the each of the arrows with the two arrows on the cartridge, then take a phillips flat head and place it under the lip of the cartridge ( 1/2 inche from the aligned arrows). then using the phillips gently lift the cartridge out. good luck.
