how is the nylon line replaced on an electric black and decker weed eater?

ran out of line. bought more. put it in, breaks off almost immediately upon use. what have i done wrong?

hi it might be the thickness of your line that is wrong i use 2mm or 2.4mm also when you but it in make sure it doesnt go past the plastic gaurd as that can cause it to brake
