It's possible that the motor is faulty, or the shaft has broken off.
It could also be that it has come disconnected.
Other reasons could be, a disconnected switch, or a faulty relay which operates the motor.
Motors are simple and easy to change.
A faulty relay would mean a new relay pcb, in which case if it is a domestic unit, you'd be better off buying a new one(Much cheaper!!)
I'd go for checking the motor first!
