Mend Hotpoint Ultima Dishwasher No Power Display

What does "DEMO" mean on the LCD of Hotpoint Ultima dishwasher?

Working perfectly well yesterday, dishwasher will not turn on this morning, apart from showing "DEMO" on the LCD display, and doing nothing morning than flicking through the options, then stopping. Help.

If you press the on/off button and the start button together until the beep, check that it says D OF. If it says END hold them buttons again asap then look at the display. If you bget D OF this time you've cracked it. I took several goes. don't give up.

Press and hold the on/off buttonm then press and hold the start/resart button. Give it about 5-10 seconds and should say "D OFF".
