Why does the pilot on my Potterton Puma 80 goes out after using hot water?
The central heating can run for hours then if you turn the hot water tap on, you get hot water, but after the tap is turned off, the boiler makes a bit of a noise and then the pilot goes out. Any ideas why?
It was serviced in June and all was OK, but the problem still remains?
its your dhw valve and micro switch had one yeasterday to fix

sounds like the boiler is going out on overheat.Your heat exchanger sounds like it is scaled up,

Not exactly sure, but I've just had a similar problem. I replaced the Flow diaphragm, as it was leaking - reducing the pressure and soaking the electric control panel - it seems to be working OK at the moment. Have you checked the system pressure?
I'm just running a bath to test if it's fixed. Let you know if it's not..... Damn, it's shut off again. I'llkeep trying and let you know if I fix it.
