My Whirlpool Washer (SM 8280869) Won't Do The Spin Cycle?

it is either the drive coupling (plastic) or the transmission clutch (scrap it)...

I have a whirlpool sm 8280869 and I found metal clips in the bowl I took the machinge apart and they go between the top of the tub and a plastic ring. Now when I run the washer if I put any more than a small load in the washer struggles to turn. Are these clips the only reason im having a problem or is something else going on? Also where can I get replacement clips

mine did the same thing, push down on the center right side of the lid, it should start. It seems that the censers go out on them.

hi usually theres a small circuit board rear bottom this is the problem it can be repaired if you want to send it to me
