however if you harm some one or damage property then you may be in the poo. And it will be deep poo
Corgi say that you must be Corgi registerd to fit and maintain gas appliances if you do it for money (i.e. make a living at it)
this is a grey area and I would take Steves advice.
I would add that it the cooker has a flexible connection attetched to it and it is compatible with the current one fixed to the wall than you are ok provided that you observe the cooker must be fitted to current standards and this includes a safety chain and anti tilt bracket. If you don't know what these are then you are taking risks for youself and your family
