check oil /petrol mixure must be 50/1.. us e do not use 2 stroke from super markets... use the type from garden repair shops .. its differeant . it mixs better.. to it running .. check to see if there a spark at the plug .. by taking the out ,touch a metal part of the tcasing , pull the cord . if there a spark , the ignition is fine , if not the on swicth might be off , turn on and pull the cord.. next there should to cables running into the casing .. make sure they are connected. spray with wd40.. take off the carburetor carefully.. clean with pure petrol.. but dont run the engine.... put back the carb .. clean fuel lines , by blowing a air line up them .. if does not start /run .. i t mig ht be mixture/ diafram filter problem .. you need to taketo garden repair shop .. to fix .. also clean air filter (onside of engine) with air line also faulty on switch..

Try this:
1: Put fuel in and switch the strimmer to On.
2: Press the fuel nipple 5-8 times
3: Set the choke to full and pull the cord
4. Set the choke to half
5. Now pull the cord with the throttle DEPRESSED and it MIGHT burst into life
6. If cuts out repeat step 5.
7. When started rev it for a min or so.
8. Then turned the choke off completely.
Your strimmer MIGHT be running
