ford focus tdi 2000 model engine keeps stopping?

can anyone help please the engine on my focus tdi just keeps cutting out,thought it might have been fuel filter blocked so c hanged filter but not cured fault. any advise gratefully received steve. (p.s engine is the endura model)

I had a similar problem with my 1999 tdi and it turned out to be some wiring worn through and shorting on the inlet manifold at the rear of the engine near the fuel filter.
