the engine oil is at the back on the drivers side, the transmission dipstick tube is at the front , low down in the middle/passenger side..however you pull a rubbe rbung off this and theres no dipstick supplied! clever eh!? for some reason the garage has to do it for you.

Look in front of the engine, in the middle. It is quite far down with a yellow handle

It should be at the back of the engine close to the bulkhead on the left hand side as you look at the car from the front.
