Mend Renault Megane Break Needs New Engine

needs new engine?

My renault megane break needed according to the local renault garage a new turbo,it was 5years old. 2days after it was fitted it broke down and after the garage took it back they informed me it now needed a new complete engine.have I been ripped off.

Difficult to comment on your issue, the garage obviously won`t change an engine for no good reason, you will have to explain further why the turbo was renewed in the first place and what is the second problem which has occurred
